Aiea Park Place Development,
Abe Lee was approached by the owners of the project to find a Japanese company that would be interested in doing a joint venture on the 185-unit project in the valley between Halawa and Aiea Heights. Abe approached Tokyu Land Company for the joint venture and they agreed to fund the project. The project had been in process for decades and the partners finally received all of the permits to proceed with the project. The project consisted of house and lot sales and it took several years for the permits to be obtained and the sales to be completed. The site cost alone was over $12,000,000.00. Abe was the consultant to Tokyu Land Co. and sat in on all the planning meetings for several years and learned how to complete a large project. The experience has been invaluable to Abe.
